Sew

My grandma has been a seamstress for almost 60 years. This project takes the form of a documentary film and involves her narrative of her growing up as a tailor, her everyday job and tasks, her process, where she finds her creativity and inspirations, what she finds interesting in sewing, and a little bit about how she spends her senior life. I hope to convey my grandma’s energetic side even with time passing by, she is still youthful and optimistic inside. I also wish to break the stereotypical images of how the elderly lives are usually perceived as monotonous.
