I’m interested in how humans navigate nostalgia, and how people’s perspectives and experiences may differ. To get some insight into this, I decided to interview five people at varying points of life. You will get to read and listen to their favourite memories and how recalling them feels. These are personal stories from real people that show the similarities and differences in how we each cope with this feeling.
An Exploration of Nostalgia is an animated and interactive digital work designed for you to explore as thoroughly as you please. Each interview page will include designs and animations unique to the subject and an opportunity for you to listen to their full interview. Much like a choose your own adventure game, you can decide where you want to start and how long to spend with each interviewee.
