Our World (not really), is a series of works presenting the idea of living in a world through the semblance of familiarity from our own. With the worlds laid out using objects and terrain from our own real world, these scenes were carefully crafted to immerse the viewer in its fantastical world. The focus of this project was to invigorate the viewer’s imagination through the trailing details left throughout the compositions.
Each world is an extension of my own fleeting imagination during my time at home on the computer. Whether I’m practicing my technical skills or just messing around, each world acted as an escape for me from my own world. The world I live in is chaotic and scary. There are no congruency between each piece. Every piece is unique to its own story and experience much like our own.
